Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- New houses have been built in Taekwan County, a mountainous region of North Phyongan Province.

Those modern houses in Phyongmun-ri are the valuable fruition of the energetic guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has ushered in a new era of regional changes and rural development.

Present at the ceremony for moving into the new houses were Ri Song Gun, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials of the Party and power organs in Taekwan County, and builders and agricultural workers.

At the end of the ceremony, licenses for the use of new houses were conveyed and oath-taking speeches made.

Officials visited the owners of the new houses to congratulate them. -0-
