Ideological Education Intensified in DPRK to Inherit Spirit of Wartime Generation

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Trade union organizations in Pyongyang are conducting education in various forms and ways to arm their members with ardent patriotism and staunch fighting spirit displayed by the defenders of the country in the 1950s.

The trade union committees in Moranbong and Sosong districts have organized visits to the Jonsung Revolutionary Museum and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery to make the union officials and members grasp the undying feats for war victory performed by President Kim Il Sung and the indomitable fighting spirit displayed by the heroic soldiers.

Through the wartime songs contest held by primary organizations of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill and Kim Man Yu Hospital, the union members cherished the faith in sure victory of the service personnel who were winning victory by weathering baptism of fire.

A meeting to hear the impressions of the reminiscences of the participants in the Fatherland Liberation War was held by the trade union organization at the Pyongyang Municipal Sports Bureau to implant the noble patriotism of the soldiers of the People's Army into the union members.

The trade union organizations of the Songyo Knitwear Factory and the Rungnado Trade Bureau doubled the revolutionary enthusiasm of the employees to carry forward the tradition of great victory like the brave fighters of the war through dissemination of poems and songs such as "For My Only Motherland". -0-
