Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences on virtues of the peerlessly great men was held by agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at the Songsin Vegetable Farm in Sadong District, Pyongyang Municipality on February 7 to celebrate the 77th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers.

The main content of a memoir of virtue "The Korean People's Revolutionary Army develops into regular revolutionary armed forces under the warm care of Comrade Kim Il Sung" was explained by Ri Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the UAWK Central Committee.

He referred to the undying feats President Kim Il Sung performed by founding the Korean People's Army, the Juche-type revolutionary regular armed forces, in less than three years with his outstanding idea and energetic leadership after the liberation of the country.

The KPA was founded on February 8, 1948 thanks to the devoted efforts of the President who clearly indicated the road of army building, he stressed.

Then followed speeches.

Speakers highly praised Kim Il Sung, who saved the destiny of the country and nation and founded the people's army from scratch, as the peerlessly great man.

They said that the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK are demonstrating their might to the whole world as the matchless revolutionary army as they are led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. -0-
