Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on Friday to convey a congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials of the Rahung Railway Factory on the occasion of its 70th founding anniversary.

Present there were Jon Hyon Chol, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Kuk Myong Ho, minister of Railways, officials concerned, officials and employees of the factory.

Jon Hyon Chol conveyed a congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the WPK to the workers, technicians and officials of the factory.

In its congratulatory message the WPK Central Committee said that the Rahung Railway Factory is a reliable one in the vanguard sectors of the national economy associated with the sacred leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The 70-year history of the factory is shining with a distinguished feat performed itself by displaying the revolutionary stamina and inexhaustible creative power and consolidating the independence and material and technical foundation of the railway field true to the grand plan of the Party, the congratulatory message said.

It said that the history of the struggle of the workers of the factory who won the proud honor of the powerful collective by creating a new record year after year is being carried forward with proud labor achievements of the workers, technicians and officials of the factory who have fully attained the production goals set forth by the Party for the past decade and made a great stride forward.

It extended warm congratulations and encouragement to all the workers, technicians and officials of the Rahung Railway Factory who have reliably supported the Party's plan and policy with their steadfast spirit and indomitable struggle and steadily carried forward the 70-year long history of loyalty and patriotism.
