The song reminds them of the devoted efforts of the President who visited many farm fields and discussed farm work with peasants.
As the words of the song tell, the nearly half course among the whole one of the President's field guidance was farm road.
From the outset of the nation building to the last moments of his life, he made ceaseless journeys to the fields of the country to solve the food problem of the people and farming problem.
One day in June 1947, he visited the Mirim Plain and transplanted rice seedlings with peasants to give instructions on enriching the distributed land and expanding the irrigated area to increase the area of paddy fields.
In the days of his efforts to solve the food problem of the people, he visited the Onchon Plain on the west coast more than 110 times. He chose a reservoir site with torchlight at midnight to solve the water problem of a farm in the suburbs of Pyongyang.
In June 1994, the last period of his great life, the President visited a field of the then Kumdang Cooperative Farm in Onchon County despite of his old age, and acquainted himself with the county's crop prospects and discussed the ways for farming well.
The immortal traces of the President who walked along the farm road and roads between fields, irrespective of the bad weather and rough roads, are left in all parts of the country.
The history of the President's love for the people who regarded the happiness of the people as the greatest pleasure is being carried forward by the respected Comrade
