Month of Anti-U.S. Joint Struggle Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- A solidarity meeting took place in the Czech Republic on June 16 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

Present there were personages of political parties and organizations including the Czechoslovak Communist Party, the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and masses.

Iri Grunbauer, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, made a speech at the meeting.

He said that the U.S. is persistently staging war drills for aggression and, at the same time, dispatching lots of nuclear strategic assets to the ROK while watching for a chance to occupy the DPRK at any time.

The reality clearly proves that the U.S. is the chieftain of escalating tension on the Korean peninsula, he said.

He stressed that the progressive people of the Czech Republic bitterly denounce the moves of the U.S., a world peace disturber, to isolate and stifle the DPRK.

Video dealing with the crimes committed by the U.S. imperialists, provokers of the Korean war and wreckers of peace, was shown at the meeting.

Meanwhile, an anti-U.S. demonstration took place outside the U.S. embassy in London, UK on June 21 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.
