Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Working people of the regional-industry factories built as the first entities of the regional rejuvenation in 20 cities and counties across the DPRK are now entering the tele-education faculty of Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry.

Many working people of foodstuff, garment and daily necessities factories in the relevant areas have entered the tele-education faculty of the university last year and this year and the number of applicants is increasing.

Hundreds of workers in Kimhwa County have become students of the tele-education faculty to learn scientific and technological knowledge suited to their factories and occupations.

Working people in Songchon, Kyongsong, Sukchon, Jaeryong and Hamju counties and many other parts of the country are and preparing themselves to be intelligent workers and sci-tech talents while receiving tele-education.

The university is making tele-education teaching programs and multimedia in an effective way, in reflection of the trend of development of modern science and technology. -0-
