Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has remodeled the Hamhung Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory.

The factory, furnished with dozens of kinds of modern equipment, put the production lines on a germ-free and dust-free basis. It has several production rooms, analysis room, integrated control room, sci-tech learning space and sample room.

The factory is another asset conducive to improving the people's health by producing more efficacious Koryo medicines with medicinal herbs and materials abundant in the region.

Present at the inauguration ceremony held on the spot on Dec. 5 were officials and working people of South Hamgyong Province and Hamhung City, and employees of the factory.

Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the provincial people's committee, delivered an inaugural address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the factory. -0-
