Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at all levels are conducting a socialist emulation drive to successfully finish this year's farming.

The South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the UAWK has organized an emulation drive to finish harvesting and threshing and thus helped farms, workteams, sub-workteams and farmers carry out their daily plans earlier than last year.

The Pyongyang and Nampho municipal committees of the UAWK have organized various mass movements to make districts, counties and farms finish the transport of rice sheaves and threshing as soon as possible, while carrying on the work for review and appreciation significantly.

The South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the UAWK is organizing an emulation campaign for finishing threshing among farms with large area of paddy fields.

The committees of the UAWK in North Hwanghae Province, North Phyongan Province and Kaesong Municipality are conducting the work to encourage the masses' enthusiasm for the revolution and struggle to make achievements in harvesting and threshing. -0-
