Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, the Grand People's Study House in the DPRK promotes the tele-reeducation for strengthening the technical forces of regional-industry factories.

The study house is now remodeling various tele-reeducation subjects to offer more knowledge and techniques necessary for cities and counties in most effectively developing and utilizing their regional economic resources and potentials.

In cooperation with officials concerned, it is pushing ahead in a planned way the work to enlist scientists, technicians and field officials of many regional-industry factories across the country in the tele-reeducation system.

Meanwhile, it is working out various teaching programs and multimedia programs on such subjects as the cultivation of sugar crop, the sugar production technology, the sea fish farming and culture, the seafood processing technology and the service for tourism.

It is also directing its efforts to the project for developing and introducing a comprehensive information service system to build up advanced sci-tech data bases of various fields including agricultural production, stockbreeding and fishery in conformity with the regional features of cities and counties. -0-
