Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on May 19.

The Syrian president in the message expressed deep thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for sending a message of congratulations and friendship on his reelection as the general secretary of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party.

The message wished the WPK continuous successes in implementing the policies for gaining progress and prosperity of the DPRK and its friendly people under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

It hoped that the cooperative relations between the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party and the WPK would grow stronger. -0-
