Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article says that the tremendous strength for building a powerful state lies in politico-ideological might.

There is no such precedent in history as the DPRK has pushed its way through the severest trials, the article says, and goes on:

It had been natural in the human history of state development that a country gradually withers away as a series of severe trials sustain. However, the DPRK has worked out miracles despite the unprecedented heavy pressures lasting decade after decade.

In the past ten-odd years, the DPRK brought about a series of eye-opening victories in succession and entered a new era of self-respect and prosperity, pioneering a new trend of comprehensive development despite the harsh trials whereby others would have yielded or collapsed more than a hundred times. If we had not had the politico-ideological might of the leader, the party and the masses united as one, there would have been no present of our powerful state praised by the world people.

Today the Korean revolution has entered a new road of advance toward greater success and change. The decisive guarantee for attaining higher goals on the basis of victory and successes that bravely hewed out the new era of transformation despite all manner of trials is to strengthen the politico-ideological might, the irresistible might of bringing about a steady advance and leap forward of the DPRK.

Today the political and ideological might peculiar to our state is growing stronger under the guidance of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

All the officials, Party members and other working people should give full play to the politico-ideological might of them rallied closer around the General Secretary to strikingly demonstrate the dignity and prestige of our state to the whole world. -0-
