Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- The people and service personnel in the DPRK significantly celebrated the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

At the Palace plaza, the visitors paid the highest tribute to the great leaders who set an epoch-making example in building the revolutionary armed forces of Juche type.
The people, service personnel and school youth and children visited the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting the peerlessly great men in different parts of the country to pay floral tribute to them.
Many officials, working people, youth and students made a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu to deeply grasp the steadfast revolutionary spirit of the forerunners who devoted their youth and lives to the sacred war for national liberation while waging the long bloody anti-Japanese struggle.
Working people of different strata visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong to pay high respect to the revolutionary martyrs who created the great traditions of the Korean revolution shining with the history of succession and performed undying feats in the sacred struggle for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.
An endless stream of successors flew into the revolutionary battle sites and the revolutionary sites across the country, including the Yonggwang County Revolutionary Battle Site and the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site.
National flags and visual aids were displayed at major places in the capital city and provincial, city and county seats and at institutions, industrial establishments and farms across the country, adding to the festive mood.
Celebration performances were given in the capital city and local areas.
Dancing parties of youth and students and women's union members in different parts of the country revved up the festive atmosphere.
