Talks Held between Secretaries of WPK and Russia Party

Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Talks were held in Moscow on Feb. 25 between Ri Hi Yong, Politburo member and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the Central Inspection Commission of the WPK, on a visit to Russia as head of the WPK delegation, and Vladimir Vladimirovich Yakushev, secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party and first vice-chairman of the Russian Federation Council.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the WPK delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Russia and, from the Russian side, officials of the leadership of the United Russia Party and members concerned.

The talks discussed realistic proposals for further expanding the bilateral exchange and joint action between the ruling parties of the two countries to suit the DPRK-Russia relations which were developed into the comprehensive strategic partnership, and reached a consensus on them.

Signed at the end of the talks was a 2025-2027 protocol on the expansion and development in depth of multi-faceted cooperation between the Workers' Party of Korea and the United Russia Party. -0-
