Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- The Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory is widely known throughout the DPRK along with "Pomhyanggi"-trademarked cosmetics.

All people like "Pomhyanggi"-trademarked cosmetics giving affectionate emotion and prudent fragrance as their name.

The factory is associated with the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who made painstaking efforts to provide the people with quality and excellent cosmetics.

One day in June 2018, Kim Jong Un visited the factory. He highly appreciated the officials and employees of the factory for mass-producing quality cosmetics favoured by the people through the dynamic drive to develop more famous products, kindling the flames of mass technological innovation.

After learning in detail about various production lines of the factory, he said that the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory should continue to wage a vigorous struggle to improve the quality of products so that our people enjoy the cosmetics produced by the factory.

He indicated the tasks and ways to be held fast to in the production of cosmetics including the issue of further developing the factory into a technology-intensive one with integrated scientific research and production by raising the technical skill of the producers and building up the ranks of technicians and researchers.

True to his noble intention, the factory has made progress in improving the quality of products by strengthening the scientific and technological forces and skilled workers capable of steering its development while developing new products.

Recently, many cosmetics produced by the factory were highly appreciated at the Commodity Exhibition at Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 and other exhibitions.

The factory was selected as one of the ten best enterprises in the country for 2023 as it promoted the development of new products with a competitive edge and the improvement of quality and created a model of quality control. -0-
