Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The mining industry of the DPRK directs its efforts to the readjustment and reinforcement project to boost productivity.

Officials and workers at Munphyong and Manpho smelteries have carried out their plans on all indices without fail while making a breach for increased production by dint of science and technology.

The December 5 Youth Mine has improved its production lines by strengthening its own technical force to raise the quality of crystal mirabilite.

The Riwon Mine over-fulfilled its plan for mineral production ahead of schedule by operating the mining plant rationally and increasing the operation time of equipment. It is now pushing ahead with the research into raising the blasting efficiency.

Similar successes have been made at Unpha, Sijung and other mines, too. -0-
