Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory message from Thongsavanh Phomvihane, deputy prime minister and concurrently foreign minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on March 26.

The message extended congratulations to Choe Son Hui on her reappointment as foreign minister at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

It hoped that the agreements reached at the summit meeting of the two countries in October 2025 would be successfully carried out to further develop the good friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with a long tradition, bring substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries and promote the regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and sustained development. -0-
