Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of metallic materials was held on September 16 and 17 under the sponsorship of the Metallic Materials Society of Korea of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present at the presentation on theme of "Improving the quality of metallic materials", were teachers, researchers and postgraduate students of various units including the Ferrous Metal Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences and Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Introduced there were more than 80 valuable papers and experience.

The papers on the production process for improving the quality of accessories of 80hp tractor engine, casting process of cement kiln supporting roller and direct heat treatment technology of heavy rails drew the attention of participants. -0-
