Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex of the DPRK is bringing about a surge in the production of fertilizer for socialist rural areas.

Officials and workers of the complex have directed efforts to the equipment management and technical control and generalized the experience of advanced units, thus achieving more successes in the production of fertilizer for the manuring year.

Technicians introduced technical innovations to increase the production capacity of the ammonia compounding tower in cooperation with workers, and contributed to putting production on normal track.

Workers and technicians at the compounding workshop are operating compressors at full capacity and other equipment in sci-tech ways.

The gas cleaning workshop has pushed ahead with the work for adjusting and improving the equipment and intensified the close cooperation among lines.
