Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province of the DPRK is strengthening its material and technical foundations for practical education.

Kanggye University of Agriculture and Forestry rebuilt more than ten laboratories including the bioengineering laboratory and the agricultural chemical laboratory into models for the province.

Kanggye University of Technology set up a new comprehensive experimental hall for education and remodeled the existing laboratories and designing rooms while supplementing experimental apparatuses to them.

Kanggye University of Medicine, Kanggye University of Education and Kanggye Teacher Training College have developed experimental apparatuses and teaching aids to improve the students' theoretical power of cognition.

Maebong Senior Middle School in Huichon City and Kogae Senior Middle School in Manpho City have improved the level of teaching by making experimental apparatuses and teaching aids according to the selective subjects and the educational units at all levels in Kanggye City and Songgan, Wiwon and Hwaphyong counties have manufactured experimental equipment to increase their educational level. -0-
