Trade Union Organizations Conduct Brisk Mass Movements

Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Trade union organizations at all levels in the DPRK are conducting various mass movements conducive to the growth of production.

Trade union officials at the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex have made efforts to enhance the role of technicians and skilled workers while organizing technical study according to the types of occupation and operating sci-tech learning space in a planned way to increase production.

Trade union members at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex have increased the production of equipment parts necessary for the repair of boilers while solving problems arising in the normal operation of generating equipment through a mass technological innovation movement.

Trade union organizations at the power transmission and distribution stations in Pyongyang and Kaesong municipalities launched a mass movement to introduce the efficient devices that can reduce the loss of electricity in transmission. Through this movement, they have encouraged the creativity of the workers.

Trade union members at the Ryongdung Coal Mine of the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex and the Phunggok Youth Coal Mine of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex are striving to increase the coal production through various collective innovation movements.

Those of the Hwaphyong Forestry Station under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, too, made achievements in carrying out the timber production plan through campaigns in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with each other. -0-
