Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- The agricultural workers in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are concentrating all their efforts on rice-transplanting.

The farms in the province are raising the operation rate of rice-transplanting machines while rationally allocating manpower and means and giving precedence to irrigation to paddy fields and harrowing.

They have grown healthy rice seedlings despite unfavorable weather conditions and scientifically distributed varieties suited to growth characteristics of rice seedlings and each area of fields to carry out their plans according to schedule without fail.

They are ensuring the number of plants per phyong while strengthening cooperation between sub-workteams and workteams.
