Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- Amid growing enthusiasm for scientific farming, tens of thousands of agricultural officials and workers in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK have participated in the workshop on the Juche farming method and the intensive study.

The workshop and intensive study deal with advanced farming methods and techniques in livestock farming, vegetables and fruit farming and other sectors as well as the problems arising in potato, wheat and barley farming.

The province properly set the period for the workshop and study in keeping with its conditions and carried on the scrupulous organization to ensure their effectiveness.

Officials in the field of agriculture and teachers and researchers of universities and institutes were selected as performers of the workshop. -0-
