Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The production of school uniforms, shoes and bags has been successfully completed in the DPRK to supply them to the new entrants of primary and junior middle schools across the country.

The Ministry of Light Industry and the Ministry of Regional Industry gave priority to the body measurement of new entrants and finished the nationwide statistical work in a short span of time. They also worked out stepwise plans and assigned production tasks and carried on the guidance work, giving precedence to the supply of technical manual and materials.

The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill carried out its production plan for school uniform and bag cloth on all indices.

Sinuiju and Sariwon textile mills, too, ensured the quality indices of school uniform cloth.

The Phyongsong Elastic Factory and the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Souvenir Factory produced relevant raw and other materials in a responsible manner.

Songyo, Hamhung, Wonsan, Aeguk, Sunchon, Kim Chaek and other knitwear factories finished the production of T-shirts for primary school boys and sweaters for school boys and girls in a short span of time.

School uniform factories in Pyongyang, Kaesong and Nampho municipalities and Hamhung and Phyongsong cities pushed ahead with the production as scheduled.

Ryuwon and Wonsan footwear factories, Phyongsong Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory, and Sinuiju and Hungnam leather shoes factories turned out light and smart shoes.

Rason, Sinuiju, Sariwon and Nampho bag factories fulfilled their assignments.

The relevant units are going on the work to ensure that those products associated with sincerity of the producers are reached to all entrants as soon as possible. -0-
