Women's Union Officials and Members Meet with Winners of Communist Mother Honor Prize

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the women's union  met with winners of the Communist Mother Honor Prize at the Hall of Women on March 6 in the run-up to the 116th March 8 International Women's Day.

Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials and members of the women's union in Pyongyang.

The winners of the Communist Mother Honor Prize made speeches there.

Speakers noted that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave high honor to their children who performed labor feats at such grand construction projects as construction of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station and the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm, stressing that he is the benevolent father who brings into full bloom the dreams and wishes of the mothers across the country.

A winner recollected with deep emotion the days when she had trained her children to be true loyalists, ready to repay the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea, while making her all sincerity to her husband, a special-class disabled soldier, for decades.

Other speakers told about the world of loving care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who put forward their sons, who dedicated their youth for the dignity and honor of the Korean People's Army soldier, as DPRK heroes and patriotic martyrs and provided new flats like palace in Saeppyol Street.

The songs "Fly Forever, National Flag" and "My Strong Motherland" resounded through the hall, redoubling the will of the participants.
