Designing Projects Active in Kangwon Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- The Kangwon Provincial Design Institute in the DPRK is stepping up the designing projects for the implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's regional development policy.

Designers for the modernization of the Ryongdam Cement Factory presented a realistic design for expanding the clinker production site and improving the capacity of crane in cooperation with technicians and workers of the factory.

The institute introduced a five-dimensional design program to complete the design for modernization of the Wonsan Stadium and finished the designs conducive to improving the people's material and cultural living standards, including the commercial service network and indoor wading pool.

Its officials and designers have been active at a coal mine in the Chonnae area to work out optimized designs for the dwelling houses.

The institute is striving to make designs for the landscaping in the area of Sokwang Temple and the construction of provincial economic institute and city and county agro-technological institutes.

It is also pushing ahead with the work to ensure scientific accuracy, exactness, rationality and delicacy in working out designs through application of the program for experiencing virtual reality. -0-
