Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Overseas citizens staying in the socialist homeland took part in the election of deputies to the 15th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on March 15.

On the auspicious day of the election, they voted in the Sub-constituency No. 17 of the Constituency No. 22 with their will to contribute to the prosperity and development of the great state under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and with the pride and honor of being overseas citizens of the powerful and dignified DPRK.

Ri Sun Nam, first vice-chairperson of the General Association of Koreans in China, said that it is a great pleasure to vote in the election of the supreme power organ of the Republic in the motherland, adding that the people full of delight of consolidating the revolutionary power as firm as a rock can be seen only in our country.

The DPRK will prosper forever as it is led by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the greatest man, she said, adding that as the leader is great, the country is strong and the dignity of the people shines.

Ryang Kum Hae, a member of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, said that the DPRK, which thoroughly embodies the people-first principle to the whole state activities, would as ever demonstrate its might as an invincible socialist state.

Ko Yong Sok, vice-chairman of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, said that the Koreans in China would more deeply cherish the pride that they have the DPRK, the great and powerful motherland, and dynamically launch a patriotic movement to make a tangible contribution to the comprehensive prosperity and development of the socialist country, remaining loyal to the leadership of the respected Marshal with single-minded unity. -0-
