Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- Trade union organizations in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK are boosting the enthusiasm and competitiveness of the working masses in the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Workers and trade union members of the Chollima Steel Complex have increased the production of iron and steel by raising the utilization rate of equipment after securing more than 72 000 tools of 250-odd kinds.

Those of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, Nampho Port and the municipal communication management bureau invented and introduced valuable technical innovation proposals and thus contributed to improving the performance of equipment and modernizing the production lines.

The trade union committees in Kangso and Chollima districts are making sure that all their members fulfill their civic duty in the spring tree-planting, manuring and tending and forest-fire prevention through a socialist emulation for the vigorous forest restoration campaign and the movement for winning the title of Socialist Patriotic Forest.

Workers and trade union members in the municipality including Hanggu and Waudo districts sent to farms manure secured through a mass-based movement.

Officials and trade union members of the municipal people's committee, the municipal regional-industry management bureau, the metal construction company and other units sent 700-odd small tools to the Kangso Coal Mine. -0-
