Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Municipal Finishing Building Materials Exhibition for Rural Construction-2026 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the Pyongyang municipal headquarters for rural construction and the municipality.

Presented to the exhibition on the theme of "Making stride forward in home production and quality improvement" were more than 3 000 pieces of furniture, multi-purpose building materials of 50 kinds and various kinds of tools for the production of building materials, manufactured by the units producing finishing building materials in districts and counties.

Through the exhibition, the participants shared good experience and technologies and hardened their will to fulfill their responsibility and duty in further strengthening their own building materials production foundation and putting the rural construction on a new stage of qualitative change.

Going round the exhibition venue, officials of the municipality took measures after discussing the issues arising in laying solid foundations for the production of finishing building materials, putting production on a normal footing and briskly conducting the competition for technology, quality and development of new products at the district and county construction brigades. -0-
