Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The workers at the Chongjin Steel Plant in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the adjustment and reinforcement project while putting the production on a normal basis.
The plant has provided a guarantee for increasing the productivity and quality of pellet with its own technological potential.
Its workers and technicians built a new concentrate-drying furnace to remarkably reduce the water content of raw materials and confirmed the proper mixing ratio to improve the quality of products.
The plant also further improved the production environment through modernization of its dedusting system.
It is establishing a pellet-preheating line capable of making rotary kilns energy-saving ones with waste gas from production.
Its fire-resisting material shop and steel foundry shop are conducting a mass movement to lower the standard of material consumption per unit and increase production. -0-
