Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is pushing forward with rice-transplanting in earnest.

The province has transplanted rice seedlings in thousands of hectares of paddy fields every day.

It makes sure that the farm machines are serviced and precedence is given to harrowing the fields as required by technical regulations in transplanting rice seedlings.

It requires the farms to learn about the characteristics of rice seedlings and the fertility of soil and plant the prescribed number of rice seedlings per phyong.

Volunteers from ministries and national agencies are dedicating themselves to qualitatively transplanting rice seedlings in right season. -0-
