Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The Taean Friendship Glass Factory in the DPRK has carried out the production at 105 percent on a daily average by giving priority to equipment and technical management.

Its plate glass workshop directed efforts to the normal operation of production lines and raising the extraction rate of products to increase the production of plate glass.

The hydrogen and nitrogen workshop established a well-regulated system for checking equipment to ensure the smooth supply of high-purity hydrogen and nitrogen.

Technicians and workers of the electric automation workshop and the repair and maintenance workshop have ensured in a responsible manner the management of electric devices and relevant substation and the processing of various kinds of materials. The Phyongsong Marble Branch Mine, the Hwangju Dolomite Branch Mine and the Jungsan Feldspar Branch Mine, too, are contributing to the production of plate glass by increasing the amount of mining per unit time with efficient working methods. -0-
