Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Farms across the DPRK concentrate their efforts on manuring and cultivating wheat and barley and making preparations for their harvest.

The Agricultural Commission and agricultural guidance organs at all levels are taking timely measures while concentrating all efforts on the manuring and cultivation of crops in the second half of their growth in order to increase the per-hectare yield and making full preparations for their harvest.

South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces take the leading in this work.

Farms in North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality have paved threshing grounds and maintained various kinds of farm machines including tractors, directing their efforts to manuring and cultivating wheat and barley. -0-
