Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has improved the qualifications of teachers in a methodological way.

The province organized a teaching course with a focus on enhancing teachers' practical abilities.

The short course for teachers of secondary schools No. 1 and foreign languages schools dealt with the issues arising in introducing new teaching methods and generalized various teaching methods for improving the practical abilities of students.

Similar courses were given in cities and counties.

The province has improved the qualifications of teachers at rural schools. It dispatched instructors of the provincial teaching institute to cities and counties to help the teachers while learning about their preparations for the courses. -0-
