Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- The Kumsong Tractor Factory in the DPRK is waging a vigorous struggle to produce more efficient tractors suited to the country's topographical and actual conditions.

The workers of its casting and forging workshops ensure the quality of castings and forgings needed for the manufacture of tractors.

The processing workshops Nos. 1 and 2 are making innovations in the processing of various kinds of main bodies and axles while raising the accuracy of products. The gear workshop is pushing ahead with production as scheduled by operating machines at full capacity.

The assembly workshop has carried out its daily plan without fail by shortening the assembly time of various parts.

The plastic workshop produces various kinds of light parts with fibrous glass reinforced plastic and other workshops, too, are doing all work in a qualitative way including the production of rubber goods and the assembly of driver's cabs. -0-
