Art Performance Given to Mark Birthday of KPRA
Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- The Ensemble of the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK gave a music and dance performance at the Ponghwa Art Theatre on April 25 to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
Among the audience were Kim Sung Du, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, service personnel, teaching staff and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School and Pyongyangites.
The performance began with the solemn playing of the national anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Put on the stage were colorful numbers including songs of the anti-Japanese guerrillas recalling the bloody traces of the revolutionary forerunners who defeated the Japanese imperialists under the uplifted banner of self-reliant independence, true to the ideology and leadership of President
Put on the stage were a series of numbers representing in their words and melodies the pride of all the service personnel and the people who have firmly carried forward the proud history and tradition of the Korean revolution recorded with victory and glory century after century by holding the ideology and leadership of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea with single-minded efforts.
Listening to the songs full of revolutionary mettle and militant spirit of the service personnel reliably defending the security of the country and its people in the sky, land and sea posts, the audience bore in mind once again the conviction that the future of the country will be rosy as it has the powerful revolutionary army faithful to the leadership of the Party.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience as it clearly showed the unshakable faith and will of all the service personnel and people to carry forward the sacred revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Mt Paektu along the road of victory under the leadership of the respected Comrade
