Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- The Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant has turned out millions kWh more of electricity in March.

Its heat production workshop is over-fulfilling its daily quota by keeping equipment in full-capacity operation, while taking measures to ensure the pulverization degree of coal and prevent the infiltration of internal cold air into the boiler system.

The turbine workshop is raising the turbine efficiency, operating equipment as required by technical rules and standard operation regulations.

The electricity workshop newly manufactured and installed a slip-ring brush of generator and a commutator brush of exciter and introduced digital thermometers into transformers to ensure the stability of the electric power system. -0-
