Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- A meeting to mark the 40th founding anniversary of the Hyangsan Hotel was held on the spot on Thursday.

Present there were Kim Song Chol, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, and officials and employees of the hotel.

Kim Song Chol conveyed a congratulatory message of the C.C, WPK to the employees and officials of the hotel.

The congratulatory message stressed that the hotel has been loved by many domestic and foreign guests for decades not only for its proud history of the past and good tradition but also for its continuous succession, and steady and innovative successes, adding that it is a proud review of the 40-year-long history of the hotel.

The C.C., WPK in its congratulatory message extended warm congratulations to the employees and officials of the Hyangsan Hotel on greeting its 40th founding anniversary, full of extraordinary pride working with honor at a major post associated with the expectation and trust of the country and the people and confidence in the new prospect.

A commemorative report was made at the meeting to be followed by speeches.
