Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The 8th National Children's Football Tournament, opened in May to mark the 77th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union, came to a close.
A closing ceremony took place at the Songdowon International Children's Camp on June 2.
Present there were Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, players and schoolchildren in Wonsan City.
In the men's and women's finals held before the ceremony, the players displayed football technique, playing tactics and team spirit they have cultivated in ordinary time.
The men's team of Pyongyang City and the women's team of Kangwon Province came first in the tournament.
