Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Graduates of senior middle schools in Kangwon Province of the DPRK have volunteered for military service to reliably defend the country.

Those in Wonsan City and Kosong, Phangyo and Thongchon counties are determined to become soldiers to repay the benevolence of the country.

Those in Munchon City and Kosan and Sepho counties petitioned their youth league organizations to send them to forefront posts of national defence.

Graduates in Kumgang, Phyonggang, Ichon and Kimhwa counties and other parts of the province volunteered for military service, saying that it is the greatest honor of the youth in the present era to serve the army.

Meetings were held in relevant areas to cheer the graduates who volunteered for the posts of national defence. -0-
