Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- The winter aesthetic symposium in the urban management sector-2026 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex via video conferencing on March 13.

Attending the symposium on the theme of "Creating greenery and protecting ecological environment" were officials, scientists and technicians from relevant sectors, including the urban management, land and environment protection, design, construction and supervision in Pyongyang and provinces (municipalities).

The participants watched a video on the successes made in landscaping for the past five years.

Speakers stressed that under the wise leadership of the Party, modern apartment buildings, rural dwelling houses and regional-industry factories, which comprehensively embodied the Party's idea on the Juche-oriented architectural beauty and the people-first idea, have been built in Pyongyang and other parts of the country and models of distinctive landscaping with local characteristics created, thus giving a face-lift to the country and achieving many successes in improving the ecological environment.

A lecture on scientific and technological issues arising in the creation and management of greenery was given and a video on advanced landscaping technology shown at the symposium. -0-
