Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un sent gifts to the pupils of revolutionary schools, primary schools for orphans and primary schools and the children of baby homes, orphanages, nurseries and kindergartens across the DPRK on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

The whole of the country was full of joy of the children who received various kinds of gifts associated with deep affection of the tender-hearted father.

The pupils of the revolutionary schools, including Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Chilgol Revolutionary School, were filled with boundless pride and happiness of growing up to be reliable backbone of the revolution and true sons and daughters under the care of the great Workers' Party of Korea.

Seeing the children in happiness after receiving the "sunflower" school things and sweets and cakes, the teaching staff of baby homes, orphanages and primary schools for orphans was full of the strong will to uphold the noble intention of the Party with sincerity.

The schoolchildren and their parents expressed their thanks to Kim Jong Un who has provided new school uniforms for different seasons as well as gifts to the children, the future of the country, so that they can lead the happiest life in the world. -0-
