Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- The 61st National Schoolchildren Art Festival opened with due ceremony at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace in the DPRK on Monday.

The festival will be held, divided into categories of solo, chorus, instrumental solo, solo dance and group dance.

Attending the opening ceremony were officials concerned and schoolchildren. -0-
