Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The remodeled city and county Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in the DPRK are turning out various kinds of efficacious traditional medicines suited to the regional characteristics, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, which won the 2025 products exhibition of Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories, has laid a foundation for producing more than 180 kinds of traditional medicines. Medicines and health foods produced at the factory are helpful to promoting the people's health.

The Sinyang County Disabled Soldier's Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, known as one of the best enterprises, has developed more than 10 kinds of Koryo medicines every year. It is striving to produce more Koryo medicines favoured by the people, including ginseng injection.

Taedonggang, Songyo, Sariwon and many other Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories across the country have increased the variety of traditional medicines. -0-
