Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The February 8 Vinalon Complex in the DPRK conducts a technical innovation campaign to strengthen the prospective production foundation.

The complex is pushing ahead with the readjustment and reinforcement project in a planned way, while arousing the spiritual strength of the masses and building up the scientific and technological force.

It is training the employees to be intelligent workers, while assigning tasks according to their abilities and providing them with necessary conditions.

The workers and technicians are repairing equipment and systems and keeping them in good condition in a responsible way. They are doing their best to ensure the normal operation of the caustic soda production line and the carbide electric furnace.

The complex is taking measures to meet the requirements of the standard operation method and technical regulations and increase the actual extraction rate. It is also boosting production while ensuring in a scientific way the stability and smoothness of the production lines of vinyl chloride, aldehyde and vinyl acetate.

And it is strengthening the foundation for prospective development and increasing the varieties of chemical products.

Amid the ever-growing enthusiasm of workers, the construction of a test production base for new materials is going on in earnest, and progress is being made in the production of equipment.

The officials and workers of the complex are directing efforts to the technical preparations, including the overhaul of liquid chlorine and dye production lines, manufacture of various kinds of compounds, establishment of carbide reprocessing system and remodeling of circulating fluidized bed boiler. -0-
