Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- The Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant in the DPRK has successfully replaced turbine buckets of the turbine generator No. 2 to provide reserve for increased generation of thousands of kilowatts.

The power plant strengthened its technical force and enhanced the effectiveness of the April 15 technical innovation shock brigade's role to introduce new technical innovation proposals.

Through several technical consultative meetings, it completed technical guides for replacing defective turbine buckets and detailed assignments to finish the technical upgrading of major equipment with competent officials, technicians and skilled workers.

Its workers and technicians invented and manufactured efficient jig equipment capable of disassembling and assembling turbine buckets and introduced valuable inventions. -0-
