Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- Different units in the food industrial sector of the DPRK are making successes in improving the quality of products and expanding their varieties by dint of science and technology.
A number of products were registered as February 2 goods at the National Foodstuff Exhibition-2026 held in April.
The Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory established production line and created production environment to meet the requirements of quality engineering and scientifically confirmed the additive amount of substances good for the growth of children, and thus has produced tasty and nutritious cakes, candies and bread.
The Amnokgang General Foodstuff Factory organized show, passing-on technique meeting, technical innovation prize contest and enhanced the responsibility and role of field engineers and process inspectors to operate and manage the integrated production system in a detailed way and ensure the hygienic safety of consumer goods.
The Paeksong General Foodstuff Factory and the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory brought about good results by directing efforts to improving the quality of products.
