Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- The Pukchong County Fruit Processing Factory has been remodeled.

The factory has been furnished with hundreds of equipment, all its production lines have been put on an automatic and streamlined basis. And it has an analysis room, general control room, sci-tech learning space and fruit storehouse.

The factory can produce various kinds of processed fruit including fruit extract, dried fruit, fruit syrup and jelly. It has laid another material and technical foundation for improving the people's diet.

An inauguration ceremony took place on November 25.

Present there were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials and working people of the province and the county and employees of the factory.

At the ceremony, a speaker said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is much concerned about the improvement of the people's living standard, gave detailed instructions on the issues arising in remodeling the factory and clearly indicated the tasks and ways for ramping up the production.

The speaker called upon the officials and employees of the factory to devote all their wisdom and enthusiasm to the struggle for improving the people's living standard, keeping in mind all the time the loving care and trust of the Party which turned the factory into a modern fruit processing base.

Artistes of the South Hamgyong Provincial Art Troupe and members of the Pukchong County Art Group gave a performance in celebration of the inauguration of the factory.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the factory. -0-
