Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- The rural areas in Pyongyang have expanded the area under rice cultivation based on greenhouse seedlings to make success in rice-transplanting.

Many farms in Rangnang and Mangyongdae districts introduced greenhouse rice seedlings on a large scale and carried on all farming processes as required by the Juche farming method, thus completing the rice-transplanting in the main area ahead of schedule.

Farms in Sadong District, too, have registered high results every day by applying the excellent method of raising rice seedlings and increasing the operation rate of tractors and nutritive rice-transplanting machines.

Hyongjesan and Sunan districts and Kangdong County, too, have fulfilled their daily plans by enhancing the responsibility and role of rice-transplanting machine operators and seedling suppliers. -0-
