Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province of the DPRK is stepping up the construction of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station No. 2 and the Ichon Army-People Power Station No. 2, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The command team of the provincial army-people power station construction division worked out an annual plan for speeding up the construction of the power stations and detailed the assignments.

Builders in charge of the foundation excavation of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station No. 2 are expanding the successes by displaying their strong practical ability even under unfavorable working circumstances. Those in charge of the waterway tunneling project are speeding up the project by inventing and introducing efficient blasting methods according to the intensity of rock.

The foundation excavation project for the dam of the Ichon Army-People Power Station No. 2 is progressing apace at the final stage.
